Kenene R. Wintle

Kenene R. (Miles) Wintle, 67, of Goffstown, passed away in Nashua on June 11, 2018.

Kenene was born in Dover-Foxcroft, ME on May 7, 1951, the daughter of Kenneth and Winifred (Moulton) Miles. Kenene attended Piscataquis Community High School in Guilford, ME and graduated in 1969. Shortly after graduating from high school she moved to Hooksett, NH where she worked at Raytheon for 7 years.
She had been employed for 30 years as an engineer with BAE Systems. She loved her job and developed a close bond with many of her coworkers. At work, she was very popular, her outlook on life was sought out and the "Kenene attitude" was something to marvel at. She enjoyed her Pepsi and was a connoisseur of whoopie pies. Kenene liked taking trips to the Homestead, she was so proud of her Maine roots. She spent her time gardening, watching her "critters" and lighting up the street with her inflatable yard decorations. She loved spending time with her family, especially her three grandsons, and always made time for others.

Family members include her son, Shawn Wintle and his wife Nicole of New Boston; her daughter, Darcee Wintle of Manchester; three grandchildren, Corey Creeden, Liam Wintle, and Landon Wintle; three brothers, Jerris Miles and Tallus Miles, both of ME, and Dennis Miles of SD; and many nephews, nieces, and cousins. She was predeceased by a brother, Steven Miles.

A memorial gathering will take place at Phaneuf Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 243 Hanover St., Manchester on Monday from 5 to 6:30 PM, with a memorial service to follow in the funeral home chapel at 6:30 PM.
