Kenneth G. Berwick, 88, of Concord, died Monday, June 18, 2018 following a period of declining health. His loving family was by his side in his final hours.
Kenneth was born in Concord, NH November 16, 1929 to William G. and Luella (Ford) Berwick and attended Concord High. Following graduation Kenneth enlisted in the US Army and proudly served his country until receiving an honorable discharge in 1950. Kenneth spent his entire career in the lumber business and was an owner/operator of several lumber companies over the years, most recently Ken Berwick & Son Lumber Company. Though he was an incredibly hardworking man dedicated to his trade, when he did manage to carve out some spare time, he enjoyed spending it snowmobiling. He was also a lifetime member of the Elks.
Kenneth is survived by his children, Diane Rourke, Susan Mounsey and husband Mike, and Mike Berwick and wife Karen; brothers Paul Berwick and wife Jane, and Glen Berwick; grandchildren Steven Rourke, Tara Mounsey and wife Sue Dooley, Mick Mounsey and wife Shannon, Bobby Berwick, and Tim Berwick and wife Jess; and great-grandchildren Haley Rourke, Michael Mounsey, Reece Mounsey, Liam Dooley Mounsey, Ted Dooley Mounsey, and Lily Berwick. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased in 2004 by his beloved wife, Doris H. (Decato) Berwick.
Cemetery Committal service with military honors will be held at 2:00pm Friday, June 22nd at Moore Cemetery on Church Street in Loudon.
