KENNETH E. CLARK
BETHLEHEM, NH Kenneth E. Clark, 89, passed away peacefully at the Lafayette Center in Franconia on Tuesday, June 19th, after a brief illness. His wife of 50 years, Frances, predeceased him in 2002.
Ken was born on October 24, 1917, a son to Earl and Louise (Cobbs) Clark in North Haverhill, NH. He was a World War II Veteran, serving in the European Theatre. Ken was a long time employee of Doane Ruggles and in his retirement years, he was a valued employee of Chuckys Country Store in Littleton.
Ken is survived by three sons, Harry Bing Clark and his wife, Candy of Bethlehem, NH, Kevin Clark and his wife, Anne of Littleton, NH, Robert Clark and his wife, Yvonne of Littleton, NH; a daughter, Theresa Plante and her husband, Philip of Hampstead, NH; twelve grandchildren; one great-grandchild, three sisters, Maxine Sidelinger, Marjorie Roberts, both currently residing in Maine, and Jeannie Cornell of Lyndonville, VT; and many nieces and nephews.
SERVICES Calling hours will be held on Friday, June 22nd from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m. at the Pillsbury Funeral Home, located at 101 Union Street, Littleton, NH. A Celebration of his Life will be held on Saturday, June 23rd at Bretzfelder Park on Prospect Street in Bethlehem, NH from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Ken had been a caretaker of the Bretzfelder Tree for many years until it was donated as a park to the town of Bethlehem.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to the Bethlehem Rescue Squad.
