Kenneth J. Cloutier, 89, of Manchester, passed away on February 25, 2011.
He was born in Manchester on April 28, 1921, the son of George and Emily (Perry) Cloutier and had been a lifelong resident of the city.
In His Life: Kenny served proudly in the United States Army during World War II and was part of the 85th âCusterâ Infantry Division which trained in Africa. They then moved into Italy, where on foot and in intense fighting, drove the Germans up and out of Italy. He was one of the very few to return and was truly one of the âThe Greatest Generationâ. A plasterer by trade, he also constructed many enviable stone facades and walls. He enjoyed watching musicals and sports, especially golf. Kenny was a devoted husband and father who will be remembered for his sense of humor, easy going manner, and contentment with the simple pleasures of life.
He leaves his only daughter, Mrs. Peter (Cynthia) Pappas of Bedford; and several nephews and a niece. He was predeceased by his beloved wife Esther (Mourtgos) Cloutier in 2007, as well as three sisters and a brother.
