KENNETH S. KNAPTON, JR.

LITTLETON -- Kenneth S. Knapton, Jr, 76, of 235 High Street, Littleton, passed away on December 18, 2002 at the Grafton County Nursing Home.

Kenneth was born, a son of Kenneth S. and Georgia (Ives) Knapton on March 10, 1926 in Hillsborough, NH. He graduated from Tufts University School of engineering in 1949.

Kenneth served in the U.S. Army Air Corps in World War II. He had a successful career as an Electronic Engineer for 20 years. In 1970 he began a career in the field of art and designing-producing products for print makers. He subsequently wrote and published a four-color magazine for original prints called Graphics. With his wife, Cynthia, he published many editions of original and offset prints for markets worldwide.

Surviving family members include his wife of 32 years, Cynthia M. (Loughran) Knapton of Littleton; five daughters, Karyn Sears of Hudson, NH, Lynn Knapton of Laconia, NH, Cindy Butler of Brookline, NH, Lois Knapton of Bradford, NH, and Nancy Ceaser of St. Augustine, FL; two sons, Dean Knapton of Littleton, NH and Kenneth S. Knapton, III of Utah; two brothers, Donald Knapton of Hillsborough, NH, and Warren Knapton, of Dover, NH.

SERVICES -- A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, December 20th at 10:00 a.m. at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church with the Rev. Fr. Joseph Klatka as Celebrant. Burial will be at a later date in Hillsborough, NH.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to the Grafton County Nurses Fund, c/o Grafton County Nursing Home, North Haverhill, NH 03774.

Arrangements and care have been entrusted to the Pillsbury Funeral Home.
