Kerby E. Riddick, 50, of Manchester, died December 13, 2007 at his residence. He was born in Brooklyn, NY on March 18, 1957, the son of Ellis and Doris (Holmes Riddick) Jones. He lived in Queens, NY for many years before moving to Manchester in 1994. Until his illness, he had been employed for the past eleven years as machine operator for NEI Corporation in Brentwood. He was a member of the Cornerstone Baptist Church. He enjoyed listening to music and watching movies. Earlier in his career, he had also been a DJ. He was predeceased by a son, William Keith Collins. Family members include his wife of 20 years, Jackie (Jones) Riddick; two sons, Robert Bernard Collins and Shawn Deon Collins, both of NY; a daughter, Danielle Rochelle Collins of Manchester; his mother of MD; nine grandchildren; two sisters, Marsella Sanders of VA and Phyllis Riddick of MD; and nephews, nieces, uncles, aunts and cousins. A memorial gathering will take place at Phaneuf Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 243 Hanover Street on Tuesday from 10 to 11 AM with a memorial service to follow in the funeral home chapel at 11:00 with Pastor Ed Prescott officiating.
