Kevin M. Casey

Kevin M. Casey, 49, of Manchester, passed away at his residence on November 30, 2010.

He was born in Manchester on September 8, 1961, the son of Roger and Claire (Hunkins) Casey and had been a lifelong resident of the city. As a youth, he was very active in sports. He was a graduate of Manchester Memorial High School Class of 1980 and went on to graduate from Northeastern University. He was a United States Navy Veteran. He had worked at the Elliot Hospital for a number of years. He coached youth football and also Babe Ruth baseball for many years. He was also a member of the Ancient Order of Hibernians.

Family members include three brothers, Ronald Casey of TX, John Casey of Manchester and Thomas Casey of Andover; a sister, Colleen Corriveau of Manchester; and several nephews, nieces and cousins.

A memorial gathering will take place on Tuesday morning from 10:00 AM to 11:00 at Phaneuf Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 243 Hanover Street, Manchester with a memorial service to follow in the funeral home chapel at 11:00 AM. Military honors will take place after the service. Urn burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery at a later date.
