Kevin R. Costin, 71, of Manchester, NH passed away on Wednesday, December 2, 2020 at Brigham and Women's Hospital in Boston, MA. With him were Kevin, Eric and Carol.
Kevin was born on January 20, 1949, in Yonkers, NY, the son of the late Edward and Helen (Rondeau) Costin.
He was a veteran and served from 1968 - 1972 in the United States Air Force.
Following his service, Kevin graduated from Cuyahoga Community College in June 1974 with an Associates of Science degree and Certificate in Physicians Clinical Assisting. For the better part of the next forty years he dedicated his professional life practicing Family Medicine.
Kevin served on the NH Board of Medicine from 1998 â 2008. He later became the first Physician's Assistant to be president of the NH State Board of Medicine and the second Physician's Assistant in the country to serve as president on a state board of medicine.
His hobbies and interests included; fishing, football and he was an avid Yankees fan. His passion was for umpiring little league baseball, with the highlight being umpiring at the little league regional finals in Bristol, CT.
Members of his family include; his two sons, Kevin R.E. Costin and Eric W. Costin and his wife Courtney, two grandsons, Brayden and Dylan Costin, former wife Carol, one brother, Ed Costin, one sister, Marge Many, two nieces and one nephew.
SERVICES: There will be a Memorial service planned in the future.
It has been suggested that those who wish may make memorial gifts to Esophageal Cancer Research, in memory of Kevin.
