Kevin J. Klardie, known affectionately as “Pop Eye” for his impressive Popeye impression and his love for making people laugh, passed away peacefully at his home on March 27, 2024 with loving family at his side. Born in Goffstown, NH, in 1950, Kevin led a life filled with humor, love, and warmth that touched the hearts of everyone around him.
Kevin’s hobbies included fishing up north, playing cribbage and most of all cherishing time with family and friends. He also had a special place in his heart for his many pets, especially his dog Debo. Kevin was a lifelong member of the Alpine club, where he made many life long friends.
Kevin is survived by his loving wife and best friend of over 33 years, Linda (Handyside) Klardie, stepchildren Gregory Bond, April Bond, and Kenneth James Bond. He is also survived by his brother Kenneth Klardie, sisters Karen Anthony, Kyle Klardie and Kim Klardie, brothers Karlton Klardie, Kent Klardie and Bryan Duval. His memory will be cherished by grandchildren Joshua and Tiffany along with several great-grandchildren. Kevin leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends who will miss him dearly.
Kevin was predeceased by his sister Tracy Duval Austin and brothers Duane Duval, Kieth Klardie, and Kurtis Klardie.
Kevin's legacy of laughter and love will live on in the hearts of those who knew him. Donations in his memory can be made to the ASPCA.
A celebration of Kevin’s life will be held at a later date.
