Kevin G. Martin, Sr., 69, of Londonderry, passed away at the Elliot Hospital on May 20, 2024 surrounded by his loving family.
He was born in Boston, MA on September 27, 1954, the son of the late Harold and Anne (Burrows) Martin. He was a United States Army Veteran. Kevin worked in maintenance for Aramark at Central High School for many years before his retirement. He loved visiting Livingston Park and sitting at Dorrs Pond with his coffee. He was a Wolfman Jack impersonator and loved music, especially oldies and rock and roll. His two favorite musicians were the Beatles and Hank Williams, Jr. He was very family oriented and enjoyed living a simple life.
Family members include his wife of 32 years, Zoe (Berrio) Martin; three sons, Kevin Martin, Jr. and his fiancé Susan Tankersley of Manchester, Paul Martin of Londonderry, and Joseph Martin of Manchester; two daughters, Joanne Martin of Monson, MA and Karen Martin-Vincent and her husband Steven of Manchester; a step-daughter, Michelle Pellegrini of FL; nine grandchildren, Adam, Cody, Ryan, Craig, Jacob, Justin, Kasey, Kristen, and Carly; a brother, Richard Martin of Manchester; a sister, Jean West and her husband William of Worcester, MA; and several nephews, nieces, and cousins. In addition to his parents, Kevin was predeceased by a brother Charles Martin and a sister, Pamela Martin.
A memorial gathering will take place at Phaneuf Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 243 Hanover St., Manchester on Saturday, June 1st from 11 AM to 1 PM with a memorial service to follow at 1 PM.
