Kevin S. Wilkinson

KEVIN S. WILKINSON MANCHESTER – Kevin S. Wilkinson, 49, died Wednesday, October 1, 2008, at Franklin Memorial Hospital, in Farmington, Maine. He was born on September 27, 1959, in Manchester, NH, the son of Richard and Geraldine (Swain) Wilkinson. He was a lifelong resident of Manchester. Mr. Wilkinson was a graduate of West High School with the class of 1978. He then attended Claremont Community Technical College, and graduated in 1998, obtaining his Associates Degree in Science with a major in Nursing. Mr. Wilkinson was employed as a registered nurse, working for Premier Medical Staffing. He was an avid scuba diver and obtained his certification in Cozumel. Mr. Wilkinson enjoyed a variety of sports, and going to the theater. He loved games, jokes and fun, and enjoyed spending time with his family. Mr. Wilkinson also liked animals. Family members in addition to his mother include; his wife, of 20 years, Lori (Beaulieu) Wilkinson, of Manchester; 2 sons, Daniel and Edward Wilkinson, both of Manchester; 2 sisters, Wanda Gottselig, of Manchester; Robin Untiet, of Goffstown; many nieces, nephews, great nieces and a great nephew. Calling hours will be Sunday, October 5, 2008, from 1:00 – 4:00 P.M. at Phaneuf Funeral Home, 243 Hanover Street, corner of Union Street, in Manchester. A memorial service will be held on Monday, in the funeral home chapel at 11:00 AM. The Reverend Gary Andy, chaplain with VNA Hospice, will officiate the service. Committal prayers and military honors will follow at the NH State Veterans Cemetery, in Boscawen. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to The Manchester Animal Shelter, 490 Dunbarton Road, Manchester, NH 03102, in memory of Mr. Wilkinson.
