Kim J. Larochelle

Kim Jacques Larochelle, 46, of Hooksett, NH passed away on April 8, 2022, in Manchester, NH with his loving family at his side. He was born on January 24, 1976, to Donald Larochelle & Denise Henri.

Kim was born in Manchester, NH and would eventually settle in Hooksett, NH. With an extreme regard for hard work, Kim graduated from Central High School only to skip his graduation ceremony to begin working in construction right away. His keen senses for the trade would fuel his long career as a Union Carpenter for 20+ years. He always loved the work, and probably would have worked 7 days per week if he could have.

Those who knew Kim will remember a wild and independent free spirit who had a fierce thirst for life and always marched to the beat of his own drum.

Mae West summed his life up in saying “You only live once, but if you do it right, once is enough”

Kim was always happiest when keeping busy, whether he was building something, hiking, skiing in the White Mountains, hunting, golfing, riding motorcycles or playing softball with the boys. Kim was always on the move. He was also a true-blooded New England sports fan. Kim loved his family immensely, and his love for them is only matched by his love for his beloved bulldog Bella, who he is now with in heaven.

Kim is survived by his mother Denise Henri; father Donald Larochelle; brother Steve Larochelle and his wife Lisa; sister Amy Matthews and her husband Jeff; nieces & nephew Paige, Anna & Tyler, whom he loved and spoiled very much, and many extended family members and friends.

A celebration of Kim’s life will be held on Wednesday, April 13 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Phaneuf Funeral Homes, 243 Hanover St. Manchester, NH. A funeral service will be held the following morning at 11:00 AM at the same location.
