Kim M. Truchon, 62, of Concord died Tuesday, August 21, 2018 surrounded by her children and grandchildren.
Kim was born in Concord on April 28, 1956 to Paul and Phyllis (Reed) Truchon. She was raised in Concord and educated in the Concord school district. Shortly after high school she spent several memorable years in Colorado where she started her family, eventually returning to New Hampshire to settle down. She had two daughters and she was a lifelong caregiver, spending 24 years as a mental health worker with New Hampshire State Hospital. She also lovingly tended to her parents as their health faded in their final years. She was a lifetime member of VFW Post 1631 in Concord and, in her spare time, she enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren, and rooting for her beloved New England Patriots.
Kim is survived by her daughters, Patricia and Mandy Truchon, both of Concord; her grandchildren, Shawn Mitchell, Trevor Truchon and his girlfriend Audra Jenkins, and Austin Truchon; two brothers, Ernest "Bud" Truchon and his wife, Freda of Concord and Paul Truchon and his wife, Janice of Bakersfield, CA; and her sister, Priscilla Bartlett of Concord.
The family will receive visitors Friday, August 24th, 10:00am-11:00amat Phaneuf Funeral Homes & Crematorium, 172 King Street in Boscawen. Service will begin at 11:00am in the funeral home chapel with interment to be held at a later date.
