Kirk Soucy

Kirk Soucy, 48, beloved husband of Rose Marie (Winiarski) Soucy, passed away on Thursday, November 20, 2014, at Massachusetts General Hospital, Boston, surrounded by his loving family.

Born in Manchester, he was the son of the late Robert and Doris (Duchesne) Soucy. After owning a heating company for over twenty years he then became a member of Local 131 as a pipefitter.

A dedicated husband and father, Kirk was the pillar of strength for his family. He cherished time spent with his family, especially with his grandson, Dylan. A true outdoorsman and thrill seeker, Kirk loved boating, snowmobiling, riding motorcycles, playing horseshoes and spending time at his camp on Newfound Lake. In his spare time, Kirk enjoyed playing the guitar. The life of party, he always made sure those around him were having a good time. Kirk will be best remembered for his generous heart and warm smile.
In addition to his wife, with whom he shared 26 blissful years of marriage, Kirk is survived by his three children, Jessica Connare and husband David of
Manchester, Meagan Grant and husband Steven of North Andover, MA, and Matthew Soucy of Manchester; his doting grandson, Dylan; his two siblings, Keith Soucy of Chelmsford, MA and Kristine Morgan of Deerfield; several nieces, nephews, and extended family and friends. He is also survived by his furry cat companion, Feisty, who brought Kirk great comfort and always lifted his spirits.

ARRANGEMENTS: A Memorial Gathering will be held in the Phaneuf Funeral Home, 250 Coolidge Ave., Manchester, on Tuesday, November, 25, from 5:30 to 7:30P.M. with a Memorial Service at 6:30P.M. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made in Kirk's memory to the American Liver Foundation, 88 Winchester St, Newton, MA 02461.
