Kristen M. Mallahan, 26, of Concord, NH died unexpectedly January 14, 2009 at the Concord Hospital.
She was born in Stoneham, MA the daughter of James Mallahan of South Berwick, Maine and Marie (Noftle) Mallahan of Penacook. She was educated in the Plaistow and Manchester school systems. Kristen graduated from Job Core in Bangor, Maine. She was a resident of Penacook for several months. Previously she resided in Manchester and Goffstown for 15 years.
Kristen enjoyed working on the computer and was an avid reader. She loved her cats. Kristen loved spending time with her family and friends. She was like a second mother to her niece Maddie and was best friends with her sisters, Keri and Katie. Kristen had a sarcastic wit and was a moral anchor in her familyâs lives. She was a truly unique enigma.
Besides her parents, she is survived by step father, Brian Hammell of Penacook, NH; step mother, Christine Mallahan of South Berwick, ME; her 2 sisters, Keri Mallahan of Goffstown and Katie Mallahan of Penacook; step sister, Jessica Prentiss of South Berwick, ME; former step father, Dave Barber of South Carolina, Paternal grandparents Anne Mallahan of Tewksbury and the late John J. Mallahan Sr.; Maternal grandparents, Robert and Faith Noftle of Zephyrhills, FL and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
