Kristine Marbella Sampson

We are heartbroken to announce the sudden passing of Kristine Marbella Sampson, 40, of Groton, MA on December 30, 2023. She is the loving wife of Stephen Sampson with whom she shared 12 years of marriage.

Kristine was the best wife, mother, friend, and person. She loved life, and taught love, faith, forgiveness, and had a big heart, and beautiful smile. Kristine taught her 7 year old son, Hunter, the traditions she grew up with as a proud Filipino. She taught him love, respect, hard work, and most of all God. She is and always will be missed by her family and friends. Please pray for her family as there are many difficult days to come.

Along with her husband Stephen, Kristine is survived by her 7 year old son Hunter Sampson; step son Joseph Sampson; grandchild Rylee Sampson; mother Maria Loreza Noel; siblings, Maria Dubois, Marie Toni Flotilde, Emmanuel Marbella, and Ana Marie Brown, who is also Hunter’s god mother; sister in law Marianne Chu; nieces, Stephanie Marbella and Monique Dubois; nephews, Renzo Marbella, Shaun Flotilde, and Drake Dubois; her best friend since childhood Gemma Nazareno; and good friends Stephanie Siedl, and Kanya Christman and her husband Russell who is also Hunter’s god father.

She is predeceased by her father Leonardo Marbella.

Visiting hours will be held on Sunday, January 7^th from 9am-5pm at The Phaneuf Funeral Home & Crematorium, 243 Hanover Street in Manchester. A funeral service will follow at 5pm in the funeral home. Family and friends are kindly invited to attend.
