Kya E. Donovan

Kya Elizabeth Donovan, 18, of Manchester, passed away on June 13, 2023. She is the daughter of David Donovan and Jennipher Messina.

Kya was born in Manchester on November 11, 2004. She attended Manchester West High School and upon turning 18, she began working as a home health aide, working towards her lifelong career goal of becoming a nurse. Kya loved music and the arts. She loved to sing, dance, paint, and read, but mostly loved spending time with her family and friends. Through her open heart and mind, she inspired others daily and, in turn, was inspired by all that surrounded her. A true joy to simply sit down and have a conversation with.

Kya is survived by her father David Donovan and her step-mother Stacey Levesque of Manchester, her mother Jennipher Messina and her step-father Jamal Green of Manchester; grandparents, Pamela Elliot, Laurie Melendy, Patricia Woody, Anthony Donovan, John Fournier and Frank Melendy; great-grandmother Barbara Reece; brothers, Chase Donovan, Charles Donovan, Kingston Green, Cashius Green, and Dyandre Fournier; sisters, Marley Donovan, Alliyah Green, Kalliyah Green, Nakita Anderson, Natalie Vasquez, and Valentina Gomez; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.

She is predeceased by her grandmother Dorie Gildersleeve, and uncle Matthew Donovan.

Visiting hours will be held on Friday, June 23^rd from 4-6pm at The Phaneuf Funeral Home & Crematorium, 250 Coolidge Avenue in Manchester. A memorial service will follow at 6pm in the funeral home. Family and friends are kindly invited to attend.
