LAURA-BETH RAMSAY

LITTLETON, NH — Laura-Beth Ramsey, 88, passed away on February 16, 2021 after a brief illness. She was born on August 16, 1932 in Warren, NH, a daughter to Everett and Sadie (Griffin) Barry. She grew up in Franconia and graduated from Dow Academy & Plymouth State Teachers College.

Laura-Beth taught for several years in NH and NY. She also worked at the Littleton Savers Bank for many years, in addition to being an Executive Secretary at the SAU #35 office in Littleton.

Since 2015 she enjoyed the staff and residents at Riverglen House. During the warmer months, she loved sitting on the front porch and visiting with all who passed by. Prior to moving to Riverglen, she looked forward to regular visits to The Coffee Pot, Dunkin Donuts & the Littleton Diner with her husband, Floyd. She was an avid knitter and donated hundreds of mittens to area schoolchildren.

She was predeceased by her husband, Floyd. She is survived by her brother & sister-in-law, Charles and Rebecca Barry of North Haverhill; her step-daughter Bonnie & her husband, Richard Wheatley of Bethlehem, NH, several grandchildren and nieces and nephews.

SERVICES — A private graveside service will be held in the Spring.
