Laura R. Fanny

Laura R. Fanny, 94, of Boscawen, NH, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family, the morning of September 25, 2024.

Laura was born in Laconia, NH, December 14, 1929, to William and Laura (Jordan) Puima, and she was educated locally. She enjoyed a career as a Psychiatric Charge Aide with NH State Hospital for many years before taking a job at Beede Electric where she remained for 15 years before retiring.

In her spare time, Laura enjoyed sewing, reading gardening, drawing, and socializing with friends. She loved animals, but her greatest joy her family and spending as much time as she could with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

Laura is survived by her daughter, Linda Miner and husband Stuart of Penacook, and her sons David Fanny and wife Diana of Belmont, and Anthony Fanny and long-time partner Becky Benoit of Boscawen. She was predeceased by her beloved husband Arthur Sr., her son Arthur Jr., her daughter Marlene LaBrecque, and all five of her siblings.
