Laura M. Heon

Laura M. (Hudon) Heon, 89, of 160 Harrington Avenue, died August 22, 2003 at Catholic Medical Center. She was born in Manchester on July 18, 1914, the daughter of Edmund and Marie (Lariviere) Hudon and had been a resident of the city for most of her life. She worked in the shoe industry throughout her career and retired in 1976. She was a member of the United Shoe Workers of America and was a parishioner of St. Theresa Church. She was the widow of Raoul Heon who died in 1987. Family members include four sons, George Heon of Candia, Raymond Heon of Deerfield, Robert Heon of Jupiter, FL and Gerard Heon of Manchester; twelve grandchildren and eighteen great grandchildren; a sister, Lucienne Paradise of Manchester; and several nephews, nieces and cousins. A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday morning at 9:00 in St. Theresa Church. Urn burial will follow in Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
