LAURAETTE H. CLARK

LISBON, NH – Lauraette H. (Hastings) Clark, 88, died Friday, October 21, 2016 at her home in Lisbon, NH. Lauraette was born October 24, 1927, the only child of Thaddeus and Pearl (Warcup) Hastings. On June 28, 1947, she married Frank Clark, Jr. and together they made their home in Lisbon.

Lauraette was very involved in organizations within Lisbon. She was a member of the Dorcas Society, Friends in Council Woman's Club, Lisbon Lions Club, Lisbon Stump Jumpers, and her special interest of the Lisbon Historical Society. While raising her own children, Lauraette was involved in Cub Scouts, Girl Scouts, Lisbon youth sports programs, and the Congregational Sunday School program. Lauraette also enjoyed substitute teaching and following Lisbon School Sports. During the summer, Lauraette loved spending time on any golf course and was proud of being a member of the Ammonoosuc Country Club.

Lauraette served 42 years as Ballot Clerk for the Town of Lisbon and several years as Secretary to the Select Board.

Lauraette was predeceased by Frank, her husband of 56 years, an infant daughter, Barbara, and her daughter, Patricia (Clark) Lang.

Family members include a son, Robert and wife Linda Clark of Lisbon along with their children Cathy and Michael Colby and Scott and Stacey Clark; another son, Donald and wife Sharon also of Lisbon and their sons Owen and Laura Clark and Tucker and Theresa Clark; a son-in-law, Thomas Lang and grandson Nathan lang. Laureatte also had 8 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

SERVICES – A funeral service is scheduled for 11:00 a.m. on Friday, October 28, 2016 at the Lisbon Shared Ministry Church in Lisbon with Rev. Lyn Winter officiating.
