Goffstown—Laureen L. Gill, 57, passed away on July 7, 2014 at Catholic Medical Center, surrounded by her loving family. Laureen was born on December 19, 1957 in Boston, MA to the late William J. and Marilyn F. Dalton (Lannan).
Laureen was raised and educated in Winthrop, MA where she graduated from Winthrop High School. She worked at the Bank of Boston, Verizon and most notably, as a school bus driver for the town of Weare. Her final position was in human resources for Easter Seals
Laureen was a special woman who always put others before herself and would do anything for anybody. Laureen loved to cook and scrapbook. She loved spending time with her children and grandchildren-her family was paramount in her life. She will be remembered for being a wonderful and selfless person.
She leaves behind in this world, her sons Damien Gill Jr. (Laura Kobylis) of Weare, NH, William "Liam" Gill of Orlando, FLA, Sean Gill (girlfriend Melissa Blanchette) of Hooksett, NH, Michael Pettengill of Portsmouth, NH, the father of her children, Damien "Dan" Gill Sr. of Manchester, NH, her daughter, Jill Trombley of Epping, NH, her mom Marilyn Dalton of Winthrop, MA, her sister Kelly Costley and her son Eric, both of Goffstown, NH, her brothers, William Dalton Jr. of Revere, MA, Richard Dalton of Lynn, MA, Joseph Dalton of Lynn, MA, Timothy Dalton of MA, Thomas Dalton of MA, and Michael Dalton of Lynn, MA, her grandchildren, Brayden Gill of Weare, NH, Landon Gile of Weare, NH, Conner Hanson of Hooksett, NH, Moxie Trombley of Epping, NH and many nieces, nephews, and good friends.
Aside from her father, Laureen was predeceased by her best friend, Barbara "Auntie Barbara" Pettengill.

A Life Celebration will be held Saturday July 12th at Phaneuf Funeral Home at 243 Hanover Street from 2-6 pm with a memorial service starting at 4 pm. Internment is private and will be held at a later date.
