Laurent E. Gagnon, 70, of Manchester, died at his resident on July 13, 2009. He was born in Manchester on March 11, 1939, the son of Herve and Cecile (Lemieux) Gagnon and had been a lifelong resident of the City. He was a member of the Teamsters Union Local 633 and had worked for Auclair Transportation for over ten years. After that, he worked for Davidson Construction until his retirement. He was a member of the Marine Corps Reserve. He volunteered at Catholic Medical for twelve years and received the "Volunteer of the Year" award. In His Life: Family members include a daughter, Joanne Rizzo of Manchester; three sons, Michael Gagnon and his long-time partner Gus of San Francisco, CA, David Gagnon and his wife Becky of Litchfield, and Dan Gagnon and his wife Debra of Manchester; seven grandchildren and ten great grandchildren; three brothers, Maurice Gagnon of Northwood, Robert Gagnon and his wife Lori of Litchfield, and Denis Gagnon and his wife Ginger of Bedford; one sister, Marjorie Sylvestre and her husband Gerry of Hooksett; and several nephews, nieces and cousins. A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday morning at 9:00 in the Chapel at St. Joseph Cathedral. Committal services will inurnment will follow in Mt.
