Laurent Yves Morin, 72, of Goffstown, passed away on January 1, 2022, at Catholic Medical Center.
He was born in Canada on September 17, 1949, the son of the last Noel and Catherine Morin. He had been a carpenter and talented woodworker throughout his career. He was an active member of the Tower Hill Assembly of God Church. He enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.
Family members include his wife of 50 years, Danielle (Tremblay) Morin; a son David Morin and his wife Kristin of York, ME; a daughter, Tina Quimby and her husband Sam of South Sutton; eight grandchildren, Sylvia Morin, Henry Morin, Grant Morin, Phillip Morin, Joseph Poltack, Jacob Poltack, Nicole Poltack, and Olivia Quimby; five brothers, Geatan Morin and Robert Morin, both of FL, Richard Morin of Manchester, Donald Morin and Daniel Morin, both of Concord; two sisters, Gisele Cote of Canada and Bibiane Iodice of FL; and many nephews, nieces, and cousins.
A memorial gathering will take place at Phaneuf Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 243 Hanover St., Manchester, on Monday, January 10th from 2 to 4 PM with a memorial service to follow in the funeral home chapel at 4 PM.
