Lauri Ann DeMayo, 42, of Manchester, NH, died July 5, 2005, in a local hospital after a brief illness.<br><br>She was born in Claremont, NH, on October 23, 1962, and is the daughter of Donald DeMayo of Penacook, NH and Lucy (Laroche) DeMayo of Claremont, NH, and has been a resident of Manchester for the past 20 years. Lauri was raised in Newport, NH, where she graduated from Newport High School in 1980. She also graduated from UNH in 1994. She was an advocate for persons with disabilities and co-founded The Alliance For Community Support. Lauri was past President of NHRAC, a Board member of Disabilities Rights Center and a member of Granite State Independent Living. She was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Manchester, NH.<br><br>Lauri is survived by her father of Penacook, NH, her mother of Claremont, NH, three sisters; Donna D. DeMayo of Vienna, Virginia, Pamela M. Locke of Concord, NH and Karen S. DeMayo of Lebanon, NH; her brother, Jeffrey F. DeMayo of Seaside, California, three nephews; a niece and several aunts and uncles.<br><br>SERVICES: Calling hours will be at the Phaneuf Funeral Homes & Crematorium, 243 Hanover Street, Thursday from 4 to 7 PM. The funeral service will follow at 7 PM in the funeral home, with Bishop Andrew Nimmo, officiating. Burial will be at the gravesite on Friday morning at 11 oclock in St. Patrick Cemetery in Newport, NH.<br><br>In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Lauri Ann DeMayo Memorial Fund, P. O.
