Laurier “Larry” G. LeBlanc, 84, of Hooksett, NH, passed away on August 21, 2026 at the New Hampshire Veterans Home in Tilton. Born in New Brunswick, Canada, on June 16, 1942, he was a son of the late Camille and Adeline (Leger) LeBlanc. He shared nearly 61 years of marriage with his wife, Lois (Reino) LeBlanc.
Larry spent his childhood in Canada. His family relocated to Waltham, MA when he was a teenager and he graduated from St. Mary’s High School in 1961. He proudly served in the United States Army from 1961-1964 and was a member of the Special Forces Unit. He later attended Northeastern University where he earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Electric Engineering. He had a long and varied career, initially working as an Electric Engineer and later transitioning to computer sales.
Larry and Lois were married in 1965. Initially residing in Brighton and Tewksbury, MA, they eventually settled in Londonderry, NH where they raised their two sons, Scott and Mark. In his children’s younger years, Larry coached their sports teams. He enjoyed fishing and kayaking and was a member of the Knights of Columbus. Larry made many cherished memories traveling throughout his life, and he and Lois especially enjoyed their travels out west to Arizona, Colorado and Utah. He especially loved spending summers at the beach house in York, sharing many wonderful times with family and friends at Short Sands Beach.
Larry is survived by his wife, Lois LeBlanc of Hooksett, NH; his sons, Dr. Scott LeBlanc and his wife Stacie, and Mark LeBlanc, all of Hooksett, NH; his brother, Roger LeBlanc and his wife Regina of Sudbury, MA; his grandchildren, Kyle LeBlanc and his wife Haley, Kevin LeBlanc, Kaylie LeBlanc, Colin LeBlanc, and Nicholas LeBlanc; his beloved dog, Benji; as well as several nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends. In addition to his parents, Larry was predeceased by his siblings, John Bougeois, Conrad LeBlanc, and Jeannette Arsenault.
Services will be held on Wednesday, August 26, 2026 at Phaneuf Funeral Homes & Crematorium, 243 Hanover Street, Manchester, NH. A Memorial Gathering will be held from 5PM-7PM with a Memorial Service at 7PM. He will be laid to rest with a private ceremony at the New Hampshire State Veterans Cemetery.
