LITTLETON, NH -- Lawrence F. Blackburn, age 81 of Broomstick Hill Road, passed away on Wednesday, June 25, 2008 at home with his family and close neighbors by his side.
A Littleton native, Larry was born on May 6, 1927, a son to Frederick and Anna (Loher) Blackburn. He attended area schools and served in the U. S. Army during WW II.
Larry was a self-employed carpenter and master of many trades. He was well known in his neighborhood for his friendly spirit and willingness to lend a hand in any situation.
Surviving family members include his wife, Priscilla Blackburn of Littleton, NH; two daughters, Barbara Blackburn of Littleton, NH and Anna Paquin of Pembroke, NH; five grandchildren, several great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
SERVICES Private funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family.
