Leilani Cadiz Dumesle

Leilani Cadiz Dumesle, 43, of Manchester, passed away unexpectedly Thursday, October 7, 2021, following a brief illness. She was born in Chicago, IL March 18, 1978, to Victor Cadiz and Sandra (Ahmedamin) Figueroa.
Leilani had a flare for interior design and was passionate about fashion. Her extensive collections of wigs, shoes, clothes, and handbags were the envy of many, and her makeup abilities were fierce. She enjoyed listening to R&B and spending time on social media, but above all else, she loved her family, her friends, and her faith. Described by those who knew her best as sassy, loud, and blunt, Leilani was also fiercely loyal and loved unconditionally. Her personality was larger than life and her loss will be grieved deeply by all whose lives she touched.
Leilani is survived by her beloved husband of 26 years, Fred Dumesle; their three beautiful daughters, Aaliyah, Genesi, and Ivana; her cherished brother, Nicholas, and sister, Chyna; her nephews, Jaylen and Isaiah, and nieces, Trinity and Jaida; her cousins, Naima, Giovanni, Maggie, her “Prima” Maria, and Maria’s children Skye, Carmello, and Deisha; and her aunt, Sandy. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by here maternal grandmother, Irma.

The family will receive visitors Thursday, October 14th 9:30-11:00am followed by a funeral service 11:00am-12:00pm at Phaneuf Funeral Homes & Crematorium, 243 Hanover Street in Manchester. Burial will be held at 2:00pm at Pine Grove Cemetery in Manchester.
