Lena Brisson

Lena Brisson, 92, formerly 40 Roy Avenue, Manchester, died November 20, 2002, at Mt. Carmel Nursing Home. She was born in Manchester, NH on November 26, 1909, the daughter of Cyprien and Regina (Belanger) Desmarais, and had been a lifelong resident of Manchester. Lena was a CNA at the Elliot Hospital for many years. She was a foster grandmother through the Crotched Mountain and was a loving mother and dedicated grandmother. Family members include three daughters, Mrs. Thomas (Lucille) Nolin of Allenstown, Mrs. Rita Belanger of Manchester and Mrs. Ronald (Doris) Harmon of Stafford, VA., 12 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren, two brothers, Albert Desmarais and Ovila Desmarais, two sisters, Lucille Martel and Cyprienne Gosselin, all of Manchester, several nieces, nephews and cousins. SERVICES: Relatives and friends are welcomed to calling hours at the Phaneuf Funeral Homes & Crematorium, 243 Hanover Street, Sunday evening from 6 to 9 o'clock. Funeral Services will be held Monday moning at the Phaneuf Funeral Chapel at 9:30 o'clock. Burial will follow in Mount Calvary Cemetery.
