Leo Barriere, 57, of 64 Moreau Street, died October 1, 2000 at his residence. He was born in Stoke, PQ, Canada, the son of Emile and Agnes (Dubrieul) Barriere and had been a Manchester resident since 1962. He had been employed for the past ten years by Unity Drywall. He was a parishioner of St. Edmond Church. Family members include his wife of 34 years, Helen (Lacasse) Barriere; a son, Steve Barriere of Goffstown; two daughters, Christine Falkenham of Hopkington and Lynn Barriere of Manchester; three grandchildren; six brothers, Gaston Barriere of Manchester, Hector Barriere of Fleurimont, PQ, Canada, Robert Barriere of Manchester, Denis Barriere of Bromptonville, PQ, Canada, Clement Barriere of Sherbrook, PQ, Canada and Jean-Guy Barriere of Manchester; three sisters, Isabelle Therberge of Stoke, PQ, Canada, Yvette Boutin of Fleurimont, PQ; Canada and Monique Blanchet of Valcourt, PQ, Canada; and many nephews, nieces and cousins. Calling hours will be at Phaneuf Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 243 Hanover Street on Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 9 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday morning at 10:00 in St. Edmond Church. Burial will follow in Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
