Leo A. Bouley, 90, of Cape Coral, Florida, succumbed to Alzheimer’s disease on June 10, 2022 while asleep peacefully, with his wife, Vi, by his side, who was the love of his live for almost sixty years.
Leo is survived by his wife Vi, and three sons, John, Tom, and Rick, and many loving grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and extended family. Leo was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and friend. His sense of humor was contagious and will live on for generations to come.
Leo loved sports, especially football, where his favorite team was the New England Patriots. His baseball cap said it all. He worked in maintenance at the New Hampshire Masonic Home for many years, and fulfilled his dream of retiring in Florida. He spent his free time watching various sports games on TV; and he played cards, bocce, and bingo almost every day. On the weekends you could find him in church as he would never miss a weekend mass. Leo was always there to help relatives and friends with household projects, as he was a true handyman.
A special thank you to the staff at Hope Hospice and Palmview Assisted Living in Florida for their loving care and support. Also, the family would like to extend their sincerest gratitude towards Phaneuf Funeral Home for being very accommodating and understanding during this difficult time.
Visitation and funeral services will be held at Phaneuf Funeral Home on Friday, June 24. Leo will be laid to rest at the Mt. Calvary Cemetery and Mausoleum. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made by check to the GCV Foundation, 1333 Santa Barbara Blvd., Cape Coral, FL 33991 with ‘Palmview’ in the memo field.
