Leo L. Hudon, 68, of Manchester, NH died April 11, 2008 at the Catholic Medical Center in Manchester. He was born on February 12, 1940 in Manchester, NH the son of the late Lucien and Cecile A. (Thibeault) Hudon.
He was educated locally and was a lifelong resident of the area. For several years he worked in the roofing and siding industry. Later he worked at the Texaco and Shell Station on South Willow Street in Manchester, which was owned by his brother, Edward, for 5 years. For 33 years he worked first as a truck driver and then as dispatch for Harcros Chemical.
He served in the Army National Guard with the 1st Howitzer Battalion 172nd Artillery and was active in the Army for a year. Leo was a member of the Manchester Motorcycle Club. He was a life member and an officer of MMC. He enjoyed riding his trike with fellow members and participating in the yearly toy runs. Leo enjoyed playing cribbage, horseshoes and chess. He also liked bowling and was on a league. Leo enjoyed taking trips to Cape Cod and Colebrook.
He is survived by his three sons, Ryan Hudon, Matthew Hudon and Ross Hudon all of Londonderry; daughter, Katherine of Manchester, 1 granddaughter; 2 great granddaughters, five brothers, Edward Hudon of Litchfield, Wilfred Hudon of North Carolina, Peter Hudon of Merrimack, David Hudon of Manchester and Paul Hudon of Manchester; three sisters, Laura Vallee of Manchester, Claire Griffin of Manchester and Jeannette Borun of Auburn and several nieces and nephews.
His Calling Hours are at the Phaneuf Funeral Home, 243 Hanover St, Manchester on Sunday from 10:00 AM to Noon with his Funeral Service to follow at Noon. In lieu of flowers, donations in Leo's name can be made to Salvation Army's Toys for Tots Program.
