Leo H. Janelle, 70, of 594 Hall Street, died February 22, 2000, at Hanover Hill Health Care Center after a long illness. He was born in Manchester on July 28, 1929, the son of Henri and Clerinda (Guimont) Janelle and had been a resident of Manchester for most of his life. He was a W.W. II Army Veteran and a member of the Disabled American Veterans Chapter 1. He belonged to the League of 1000 Men of the Precious Blood Monastery and was a parishioner of St. George Church. Leo retired from Hermsdorf after over 40 years of service. Family members include his son, Marc Janelle of Atlanta, Georgia, his daughter, Mrs. Renee V. Hall of Manchester, three grandchildren, one great grandchild, a brother, Alphee Janelle of Manchester, three sisters, Simonne Morrissette, Doria Robichaud, both of Manchester and Claire Mason of Tilton, several nieces, nephews and cousins. SERVICES: Calling hours are at the Phaneuf Funeral Homes & Crematorium, 250 Coolidge Avenue, Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday morning at 10 o'clock in St. George Church. Entombment will be in Mount Calvary Mausoleum.
