Leo E. Pilotte, 83, of 19 Larch Street, died November 7, 2000, at Catholic Medical Center after a short illness. He was born in Manchester on July 12, 1917, the son of Napoleon and Emma (Morin) Pilotte and had been a lifelong resident of the Queen City. He was a W.W. II Army Veteran, belonged to the Catholic War Veterans Post # 1624 of St. Jean Baptiste Church and was a parishioner of St. Edmond Church. Leo worked for Waumbec Mills, for Goulet Supply and after his retirement, he worked for Aubin Hardware. He is the widower of Simonne A. (Glaude) Pilotte who died in June of 1999. Family members include three sons, Roger Pilotte and his wife Helen of Lynnfield, Ma., Gerald Pilotte and his wife Marguerite and Norman Pilotte and his wife Denise, both of Manchester, two daughters, Miss Lorraine Pilotte and Mrs. Daniel (Priscilla) Lavoie, both of Manchester, three grandchildren, Matthew, Aaron and Danielle Pilotte, all of Manchester, a brother, Lucien Pilotte of Nashua, several nieces, nephews and cousins. SERVICES: Calling hours are at the Phaneuf Funeral Homes & Crematorium, 250 Coolidge Avenue, Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday morning at 9 o'clock in St. Edmond Church. Burial will follow in Mount Calvary Cemetery. Donations may be made in his memory to one's favorite charity.
