Leolyn A. Hambleton Merrill

Leolyn A. Hambleton (Annis) Merrill, 90, died on Sunday, June 24, 2018 at Genesis Healthcare, in Manchester. She was born on January 15, 1928, in Nashua, NH the daughter of the late Bernard E. and Hazel (Hill) Annis. She grew up in Nashua and attended local schools there.
Prior to her retirement, she was employed as a receptionist at Dr's. Goyette, Cote and Duval's offices.
Mrs. Merrill enjoyed knitting and cooking for her family and friends. She also taught Sunday school.
Members of her family include; her son, John Hambleton and his wife Donna, of Franklin, NH; three daughters, Judy Keenan and her husband, Jay, of Durham, NC; Susan Muller and her husband, Curt, of Hampstead, NH; Nancy Hambleton of Bow, NH; 7 granchildren, Brenda, Natasha, Randy, John, Amy, Kristen, Caitlin, 11 great grandchildren, Samantha, Jessica, Jack, Daniel, Porter, Elise, Carlie, Cash, Khalil, Gwendolyn and Jade. She was predeceased by her first husband, Winston Hambleton and by her second husband, Frank B. Merrill.
SERVICES: A memorial gathering will be held on Thursday, June 28 from 4:00 – 7:00 PM at Phaneuf Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 243 Hanover Street, in Manchester. Private interment will take place at Edgewood Cemetery, in Nashua at a later date.
It has been suggested that those who wish may make memorial gifts to Breast Cancer, in memory of Mrs. Merrill.
