Leon A. Dionne

LEON A. DIONNE MANCHESTER – Leon A. Dionne, 63, died Sunday, March 18, 2007, at Catholic Medical Center, in Manchester, following a lengthy illness. He was born on February 23, 1944, in Boston, Massachusetts, the son of the late Stanislas and Marie (Bilodeau) Dionne. He grew up in Nashua and attended local schools there. Mr. Dionne was a resident of Manchester for the past 35 years. Mr. Dionne was self-employed. He was an avid sports fan and enjoyed playing poker. Family members include his wife of 35 years, Gloria M. (Lawrence) Dionne, of Manchester; 4 daughters, Dawn M. Dionne, Heather L. Dionne, Danielle A. Dionne, all of Manchester, and Tracy Dionne, of Hillsborough, NH. IN HIS LIFE: In addition, other family members include his grandson, Maddox N. McGilvary, and his best friends, Margaret and Gerry Parent of Litchfield, NH; and George Tsiatsios. There are no calling hours. A funeral service will be Wednesday, March 21, 11 A.M. at Phaneuf Funeral Home, 243 Hanover Street, corner of Union Street, in Manchester. Burial will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery, in Manchester.
