Leon E. Knapp, Jr passed unexpectedly on April 24, 2016 at the age of 57.
He is survived by his mother Nancy Powling, stepfather Percy Powling, Fiancée Melissa D. Brown, their son Logan B. Knapp, ex-wife Ann (Wood) Knapp and their three sons Leon A, Evan M and Orin A. Knapp, his sister Wannetta Powling, brother Milo Knapp, his granddaughter Destiny Knapp, grandson Deshawn Knapp, soon to be born granddaughter Avangaline Knapp, and many nieces and nephews and cousins and Uncle Carroll Rice.
He will be greeted in heaven by his father Leon E. Knapp, Sr. and Brother Peter Alonzo.
Leon Jr. Was a loving man who was born to hunt and fish. He was a hard worker who would take the shirt off his back to help someone out. He went to school in Marlboro and Whitingham. He was a man of many talents-carpenter-Logger-worked at Carroll Concrete and Renaud Brothers. Leon enjoyed the outdoors and went on a hunting trip of a lifetime in Montana Elk Hunting. He enjoyed sharing stories with his family and friends. He is well loved and missed by many.

Funeral Services will be held on Friday April 29, 2016 at 1:00 PM at the Ker-Westerlund funeral, Friends are invited to a time of visitation from 12:00 Noon until the time of the service at 1:00 pm. Graveside committal services and interment will follow in the So. Newfane Cemetery with a reception to be held afterwards.
