Leon L. Lepage, 77, of 55 Greenview Drive, Manchester, died July 29, 2000, at IHS Manchester after a long illness. He was born in Berlin, NH on July 20, 1923, the son of Edmond and Laura (Descoteau) Lepage and had been a resident of Manchester since 1961. He worked many years for Cote Brothers and then went to work for the State of NH at YDC for many years. He was an Army Veteran serving during WW II. Mr. Lepage was the widower of Lorraine (Baker) Lepage who died June 2, 2000. Leon was a parishioner of St. Jean Baptist Church. Family members include two sons, George E. Lepage of Bedford, NH and Donald L. Lepage of Manchester, five granchildren, a sister Lucille Brigham of Berlin, NH, several nieces, nephews and cousins. SERVICES: A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday morning at 9:30 in St. Jean Baptiste Church. Burial with military honors will follow in the NH State Veteran Cemetery, Boscawen, NH at 11 AM. Donations may be made to the American Lung Association, 456 Beech Street, Manchester, NH 03105. The Phaneuf Funeral Homes & Crematorium, 250 Coolidge Avenue, is in charge of arrangements.
