LEONARD A. LABBAY

LYMAN, NH  Leonard A. Labbay, age 87, passed away on Friday, May 29th at his home.

Leonard was born on August 3, 1921, a son of Fred J. and Cordial R. (King) Labbay in Barnet, VT. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II.

Leonard started his own farm in Lyman in 1954, which he worked until the late 1980s when he retired. He was well known for his skills in sugaring and maple syrup production. Leonard enjoyed fishing so much that he created his own trout pond. He also loved to garden, in which he took great pride.

Leonard is survived by his wife of 64 years, Barbara (Locke) Labbay of Lyman, NH; his son, Arthur and his wife, Julie Labbay of Lyman, NH; two daughters, Nancy Labbay of Lyman, NH, and Sally Labbay of Littleton, NH; two grandchildren, Katelyn and Nicholas.
