Leonard W. Pariseau, 80, of 60 Riverfront Dr. and formerly of 260 Bartlett St, died November 29, 2000 at the Elliot Hospital. He was born in Manchester on January 30, 1920, the son of Albert and Beatrice (McLaughlin) Pariseau and was a lifelong resident of Manchester's West Side. He was a World War II Army Air Corps Veteran and served in Burma as a member of the Flying Tigers. He was a truck driver for Auclair Transportation for over 20 years and was a member of the Teamsters Union. After his retirement, he worked part-time as a court officer for the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Department. He was a parishioner of St. Patrick Church for over 50 years and was a member of the League of 1000 Men of Precious Blood Monestary. He was the widower of Josephine (Bialon) who died in November 1998. Family members include two daughters, Mrs. James (Johanne) Craigen of Wallingsford, CT and Mrs. Joseph (Janice) Maienza of Westford, MA; five grandsons; a brother, Robert Pariseau of Chelmsford, MA; and several nephews, nieces and cousins. Calling hours will be at Phaneuf Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 250 Coolidge Avenue on Friday from 4 to 8 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday morning at 10:00 in St. Patrick Church. Burial will follow in Pine Grove Cemetery.
