Leonard “Len” Marvin Torstenbo, 82, of Concord, NH, passed away on May 29, 2026 at Concord Hospital. Born in Harlowton, MT on June 9, 1943, he was a son of the late Helge and Anna (Vandenbroucke) Torstenbo. He shared 60 years of marriage with his wife, Judith (Michaud) Torstenbo.
Leonard was raised in Harlowton, MT and graduated from Harlowton High School and later from Montana State University. He served in the United States Army for two years and was a Vietnam Veteran. Len was an avid hunter and fisherman. He also enjoyed baseball, which he played in his younger years, and watching football. He was employed for many years at Pandora Sportswear, Inc. He later purchased B & R Landscaping, which he owned and operated throughout the 1980s. He also worked part time for the Southern New Hampshire Planning Commission as a field technician. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather who cherished time spent with his family.
Leonard is survived by his wife, Judith Torstenbo of Concord; his sons, Robert Torstenbo and his wife Shanon of Concord and Jason Torstenbo of Arizona; his grandson, Brett Torstenbo of Florida; his sister, Jeanne Olson and her husband Mark of Montana; as well as several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his brother, Laurence Torstenbo.
Per Len’s wishes, he will be laid to rest with a private ceremony at the New Hampshire State Veterans Cemetery.
