FRANCONIA, NH --Letitia Elise Crosby, 89, passed away on Saturday, December 16, 2006 at her home in Franconia surrounded by her family. She was the beloved wife of the late Henry Ashton Crosby III.
She was born on October 28, 1917,in Oak Hill, West Virginia, the eldest daughter of George Milton Jones and Eleanor Barton Hopkins Jones.
SERVICES -- A Celebration of Letty will be held at the Franconia Community Church, 44 Church Street, Franconia, on January 14, 2007 at 3:00 p.m. All are invited to join the family at Latrobe Farm, McGowan Hill Road, Franconia, after the service. On May 3, 2007, a memorial service will be held at Arlington National Cemetery, Arlington, VA, where she will rest next to her husband. The family requests that any contributions honoring Letty may be made to the Bancroft House, Harvard Street, Franconia, NH 03580.
