Liana I. McMahon, 65, of 195 Belmont Street, Manchester, NH died October 14, 2003, at the Elliot Hospital. She was born in Magog, P.Q., Canada on January 4, 1938, the daughter of the late Phillippe and Marie (Couture) Tanguay and had been a resident of this area for most of her life. Liana was a Supervisor Nurse in the Operating Room at the Elliot Hospital for many years. She was a parishioner of St. Anthony Church and a member of the Ladies of St. Anne. Mrs. McMahon was a member of Association Canado Americaine and was a volunteer for Birthright. She was the widow of Daniel O. McMahon who died in 1997. Family members include two sons, Brian McMahon of Washington, DC and Mark McMahon of Norwood, Massachusetts, a step daughter, Cecile Leonard of Manchester, two brothers, Robert Bissonnette of Manchester and Jean Paul Tanguay of Candia, NH, a sister, Mrs. William (Marie) Brent of Goffstown, NH, many nieces, nephews and cousins. SERVICES: Calling hours are at the Phaneuf Funeral Homes & Crematorium, 243 Hanover Street, Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM. Her Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday morning at 10 o'clock in St. Anthony Church. Burial will be in Mount Calvary Cemetery.
