Mrs. Liliane St. Pierre, 83, of Manchester died October 10, 2010 at the Catholic Medical Center in Manchester surrounded by her loving family.
She was born on April 1, 1927 in Princeville, Quebec the daughter of the late Ludovic and Lumina (Mercier) Baril.
Liliane was a loving and dedicated mother, housewife, and an expert seamstress during her career. She had worked in the school cafeteria at Ste. Marie while her children were in school there. Liliane enjoyed sewing, gardening, cooking, spending time with family and playing cards.
She was a member of the Societe des Dames de Sainte-Anne. Liliane was a parishioner of Sainte-Marie Church, Manchester, New Hampshire.
In her Life: She was predeceased by her husband Gaston âGusâ St. Pierre who died on February 13, 2010. Family members include 3 sons, Denis St. Pierre and his wife Laurie (Roy) of Manchester, Normand St. Pierre and his wife Lorraine (Caza) of Manchester and Guy St. Pierre and his wife Diane (Rochefort) of Manchester; 2 daughters, Suzanne and her husband Timothy Dorgan of Weare and Carol and her husband Charlie Baker of Deering; 9 grandchildren, Tenley, Erick, Patrick, Bradley, Jordan, Keith and his wife Laura, Nicole, Cedric and Chandler; 1 great grandchild Jacob; 4 brothers, Andre Baril and his wife Gertrude of Princeville, Quebec, Gaston Baril and his wife Denise of Victoriaville, Quebec, Real Baril and his wife Cecile of Princeville, Quebec, Berthin and his wife Jacqueline of Claremont, New Hampshire; 2 sisters, Yvette Plante of Victoriaville, Quebec, Monique Gagnon and her husband Eugene of Princeville, Quebec and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brother Marcellin Baril who died on October 21, 1986.
Calling Hours are at the Phaneuf Funeral Home, 250 Coolidge Ave, Manchester on Thursday from 2-4 and 6-8PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday at 10:00AM at Ste. Marie Church, Notre Dame Ave, Manchester. Committal Prayers will follow in the chapel at Mount Calvary Cemetery, Manchester. In Lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Autism Society of NH or the American Cancer Society.
