Lillaian V. Barton

Lillian V. (Trepanier) Barton, 77, of 17 Foster Ave., died January 26, 2001 at the Elliot Hospital. She was born in Concord on September 11, 1923, the daughter of Francois and Anna (Dutil) Trepanier and had been a Manchester resident for the past fifty years. She was a caregiver for many years. She was predeceased by her husband, Walter Barton, who died in 1986. She enjoyed playing Scrabble and other games and also loved making puzzles and reading. She also enjoyed spending time at home with her family and traveling with her husband. Family members include three sons, Ronald Barton of Weare, Robert Barton of Londonderry and Frank Barton of Manchester; two grandsons; a sister, Cecile Raymond of Manchester; and several nephews, nieces and cousins. SERVICES: Calling hours are at Phaneuf Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 243 Hanover Street on Tuesday from 1 to 3 PM. Funeral services will follow at 3:00 PM in the funeral home chapel. After cremation, inurnment will take place in Pine Grove Cemetery columbarium. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, 360 Route 101, Unit 501, Bedford, NH 03110.
