Lillian Desrochers, 80, of Goffstown, NH died January 13, 2012 at the Hospice House in Concord.
She was born on November 15, 193 in Goffstown, NH the daughter of Arthur and Fabiola (Messier) Gamache. She was educated in the Goffstown school system and was a resident of Goffstown for most of her life.
Along with her husband she was the proprietor of Webster Heights Market in Manchester for 21 years. She later worked at the Hillsborough County Nursing Home for 12 years and retired from the Shop N Save where she worked in the bakery.
She enjoyed puzzles, working in the yard, gardening, being around children and especially spending time with her family.
Family members include her son, Lucien Desrochers of Portland, ME, 4 daughters, Lena Morgan of Goffstown, Lucy Soule of Bristol, Laura Tuttle of Weare and LuAnn Lepicier of Northwood, 15 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, 5 brothers, Robert Gamache of Goffstown, Arthur Gamache of Manchester, Edward Gamache of Goffstown, Reynald Gamache of Goffstown and George Gamache of Maine, 3 sisters, Rita Chadwick of Bow, Helen Rivet of Bow and Theresa Rivet of Webster. She was predeceased by her husband Lucien Desrochers who died in 2000, her son, Leonard Desrochers and her sisters, Bertha Kennedy of AZ, Yvette Sarette of Goffstown and her brother, Lucien Gamache of Manchester.
Calling Hours are at the Phaneuf Funeral Home, 250 Coolidge Ave, Manchester on Tuesday from 2-4 and 6-8PM. Her Funeral Service will be held in the Funeral Home on Wednesday at 10:00AM. Committal prayer will follow in the mausoleum chapel at Mount Calvary Cemetery, Manchester. In lieu of flowers donations in Lillian's name can be made to the charity of one's choice.
