Lillian A. (Tirrell) Gelinas, 78, formerly of 73 Healion St and currently of 10 Colby Court, Bedford, died December 30, 2001 at the Elliot Hospital. She was born in Goffstown on November 10, 1923, the daughter of Lester W. and Dorothy (Robie) Tirrell and had been a Manchester resident for most of her life. She was co-owner, with her husband, of E.S. Newton Company, Inc for many years. Most recently, she was employed by H&O Dental Labs of Manchester. She was Past President of the UCT Ladies Auxillary and was a current Board member of the UCT, Manchester Council 195. She also served as secretary of the Past Grand New England Wives of the UCT. She was a parishioner of St. Catherine Church and was a past leader of St. George Girl Scouts. She was predeceased by her husband, Wilfred N. Gelinas who died in 1982 and by two daughters, Priscilla ''Fou Fou'' Wenners and Patricia Mannion. Family members include two daughters, Mrs. Paul (Gloria-Jean) Tarling of Raymond and Glenda Blau of Florida; eight grandchildren and ten great grandchildren; three brothers, Kenneth Lauriat of Las Vegas, NV, Edward Lauriat of Florida and Ralph Tirrell of Concord; a sister, Mrs. Paul (Carolyn) Gagnon of Goffstown; and many nephews, nieces and cousins. Calling hours will be at Phaneuf Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 243 Hanover Street on Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday morning at 10:00 in St. Catherine Church. Burial will follow in Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
