Lillian F. Mccarthy

Lillian F. McCarthy, 88, formerly of 85 Village of Glen Falls, Goffstown, died October 12, 2001, at I.H.S. Health Care, after a lenghty illness. She was born in Boston, Massachusetts on April 2, 1913, the daughter of the late William and Lillian (Eaton) Greene and had been a resident of New Hampshire since 1977. Lillian was an avid knitter and will be long remembered for her warm smile. She was a member of the Goffstown Unity Club for two years. Family members include her husband of 66 years, William J. McCarthy of Bedford, three sons, Joseph L. McCarthy, Paul E. McCarthy both of South Boston, Ma. and Peter G. McCarthy of Andover, Ma., six grandchildren, ten great grandchildren, her two predeceased sons Kevin McCarthy and William J. McCarthy, III. SERVICES: Calling hours are at the Phaneuf Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 250 Coolidge Avenue, Manchester, NH on Monday evening from 6 to 9 o'clock. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday morning at 10 o'clock in St. Patrick Church, Manchester, NH. Burial will be in Hillside Cemetery, Goffstown, NH.
