Lillian I. (Derr) Moore, 79, of 346 Lake Ave, died at her residence on December 16, 2003. She was born in Providence, RI, on March 17, 1924, the daughter of Charles and Blanche (Sherman) Derr and had been a Manchester resident since 1964. She had worked at Scott Wentzell Insurance Company for a number of years until her retirement. She was an avid reader and loved to do crossword puzzles. She donated to many charities. She was the widow of William F. Moore who died in 1975. Family members include four sons, Frederick "Rick" C. Moore of Manchester, Dennis Moore of Nashua of Stephen Moore of Manchester and David Moore of Merrimack; a daughter, Sandra Moore of FL; seven grandchildren and seven great grandchildren; a sister, Carole Gault of FL; and several nephews, nieces and cousins. Calling hours will be at Phaneuf Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 243 Hanover Street on Tuesday from 6 to 8 PM with a memorial service to follow in the funeral home chapel at 8:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Heart Association, 20 Merrimack Street, Manchester, NH 03101; or to the Salvation Army, 121 Cedar Street, Manchster, NH 03103 or to the Make A Wish Foundation of NH, 66 Hanover Street, Manchester, NH 03104.
