MARY LINA ROSE BALLOU
FRANCONIA, NH --- Lina Rose Ballou, 100, formerly of Littleton passed away at the Lafayette Health Care Center in Franconia on June 27, 2007. The family would like to pass along their thanks and gratitude to the staff at Lafayette for the care she received.
Lina was born in Littleton on September 22, 1906, a daughter to John and Rose (St. Lawrence) Goode. She attended Littleton area schools.
She was known to many locals during her employment at Parkers Drug Store for several years. During the elections, she could be found as a volunteer in the voting booth area. During her centurion life, she showed a love for craft-making which she was actively involved in and known for her keen abilities to create unique crafts. She was a member of St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church and the Catholic Daughters.
Surviving family members consists of several nieces and nephews. Her husband, William C. Ballou, predeceased her.
SERVICES: A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, July 3, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church with Rev. Father Daniel J. Sinibaldi as Celebrant. Burial will follow in the St. Rose Cemetery.
